Michael’s studies in clinical psychology have proven to be invaluable in helping his clients manage their wealth. He has the ability to combine profound technical insight with genuine concern, focusing on relationship building over transactions.
After earning his baccalaureate from Long Island University and becoming certified as a teacher, Michael was accepted into the clinical psychology Ph.D. program at New York University. It quickly became apparent to Michael that his business acumen and understanding personality were a perfect combination for a career in the financial service industry.
He went on to co-found KBK Wealth Management and has enjoyed more than 30 years of practicing wealth, estate, insurance, disability, and long-term care planning.
Michael is also a member of the Financial Services Institute, an independent advocacy organization working in Washington, D.C., and at the state level to promote the highest ethical and fiduciary care standards to protect client assets, as well as a healthy regulatory environment that advances principles of good stewardship, accountability, and individual access to independent, competent, and affordable financial advice, products, and services.
Away from the office, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and wife of 46 years.
